I would like to thank Blake for the great job he did on my son’s ducks. My son’s first duck was Gadwall Drake. Before I sent the duck to him my son shot a Wood Duck Drake. I couldn’t pass up getting this beautiful duck mounted also. I gave Blake a call about mounting it. Again Blake was great and in a few days I had both ducks on the way. Blake was very good about having my son pick just the way he wanted his ducks mounted. In no time both ducks were back here and they look great. My son is very proud of both of his ducks and they look great. One sits on the fireplace and the other is on the wall in flight. I can’t thank Blake enough for the fantastic job he did on both of them. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

What I liked about the service I received with Blake, Is that I received a mount that looked like what the bird looked like in Nature. Blake has a keen sense of how the bird is proportioned replicating a exact pose as you would see in the wild. I was very impressed with the details of the mount, such as the bills, eyes, feet, and mounting structures. The key benefits you get with Blake is very good communication, ease of sending birds and receiving them back, and a quality mount that will remind you of your harvest and hunt.

I just wanted to write and thank you for the outstanding job you did on my son's green head. As this was his first duck, we wanted it to be extra special. The duck is absolutely gorgeous and he is very proud of it. You have now mounted multiple ducks, geese and turkey tails for me and each mount has been of the utmost quality. What makes you stand out from other taxidermists is that you not only follow the details of my request, but you also get the birds back in a very timely manner. If you want your trophy bird mounted, Blake Wilson is your man. My goal is to have a perfect pair of every duck species available to me. Thanks to Blake's expertise, I am well on my way to achieving my goal. So far, Blake has produced more than 15 realistic mounts for me, each in a different, creative pose. I received the Drake Mallard mount today and I can’t tell you how pleased I am with the final product. I felt like a little kid again at Christmas getting the present you thought you would get and realizing you’re not dreaming because its really yours and its in your hands. This is my first duck mount and I was not sure about having it sent from Alabama to North Dakota but your passion for what you do shows not only in your work but in the way you packaged my mount for its trip back home. I am glad that a friend of mine told me about “Wings Over Water Studios”. Not having a lot of extra financial resources made your price very affordable. Thanks again Blake for bringing back the memories of my special hunt.
